That is all.
Haven't won 3 in a row since cupcake season. Sets us up nicely for a visit to the 2nd weekend! #optimism
Next win....tourney!
LOL figures,,,now hall can't miss FT's..they did all season, but not today.
I really don't think we are a lock.

It's okay to be wrong sometimes.
The 2003 team laid an egg vs. UAB in the C-USA tournament, too.

We're a lock, but Dayton is still very much in the mix especially after that clunker.

Then we get a practice game in.
Anybody our all-time record in the BET is without having to look it up? It feels like we never, ever do well and lose to the first good team we meet.
Feeling good about the tourney - that is all
MSG owns MU. Spanning 3 coaches.
I'm just nervous about possibly landing in Dayton. Hopefully it won't come to that and we can start in the round of 64

Got bounced by ND and made the Elite Eight.
Get bounced by decent SH team... Sweet Sixteen?
Man, I really do not enjoy playing Seton Hall.
And their commercial looks like it was written and directed by a middle school student.
I like us versus just about any team out there----except SHU.
Since so many don't think we're in the ncaa tourney, who's willing to make a bet?
I will be shocked and appalled if we are not dancing.

Why? If we are in Dayton we won't have the dreaded 8/9 seed. At least I don't recall 8/9 seeds playing in Dayton. What is important are the match ups. Hopefully will play someone that does not matchup well against us.

That's all I hope for. It's much more fun playing with everyone else than starting in one of the filler games. Not optimistic we get a win either way without a crazy good match-up, but the younger guys need to get some tournament experience.
Today's a reminder of this fact: when we hear MU's name called Sunday, that will be the ribbon on a successful season. While many of us - myself included - believe this team shoots well enough to advance beyond the first round and perhaps even make a Sweet Sixteen run, a first round loss would not detract from how important this season has been for the program (and how bright the future is).
We're playing with house money now and hopefully we'll hit some big hands.

Now that's the optimism we need around here!

I hope it's just frustration of the moment - barring a rash of black swan events in conference tournament we should be comfortably in.

Does give Luke a little more time to let the shoulder rest. Speaking of which, any news on that?

There are a half-dozen, give or take. I truly believe at least a few of them hope we don't make it so they can say "I told you so" and go back on the "Fire Wojo" trip.
A half-dozen (again give or take) more are doing major hedging, saying they think we'll sneak in but wouldn't be surprised if we get spurned. Very smart because they can say "I told you so" either way and not be the least bit impressed when we get in.

Yeah, I noticed some. But if you can't say anything good......

Right now, anyone saying "I think we're in" is one of those hedgers in my eyes. We were in when we beat Xavier. Just a question of driving distance now.
