He will be eligible on Sunday, December 14, 2014.
Would his enrollment and attendance today provide Buzz the green light to comment?
Ye s, MU can now comment.... Se gomarquette.com
So I'm sure Bo will tell his AD to make sure we are on their schedule for no later than Dec 13th. Buzz best be in the ear of our new AD on that...

No, Duane will still be a frosh and Buzz does not play them. Besides, Buzz has already anointed Derrick as a game changer and the best defensive player he has ever coached--so Duane will need to wait another year.
I think Luke will benefit a great deal from a year of practice and school out of the limelight. He'll be a serious force next year at this time. Again, welcome and enjoy your semester.

Considering that historically the UW game has been the Saturday before finals or the last week of classes this game will happen prior to December 14th, which is the day after the fall term ends.

I think it would be nice if randomly one or twice a year there was a "Top Ten Ignores" list however. I think it would be very telling.

No, but Heisenberg does trying to point out that as an example of Buzz playing frosh. I would say it is another example of poor judgment by Buzzo, i.e. Erik Williams, Reggie Smith, Crowder coming off bench, Louisville meltdown, Roseboro, Mbao, Derrick being a game changer, etc., etc., etc. Just thought I would give you some examples, because you would surely ask for them.

I cannot believe we have stuck this long with this loser coach of ours. Terrible judge of talent. Terrible game coach. Terrible human being. Embarrassment to the university and, well, to mankind in general.
If only non-alums with zero stake in Marquette could have more influence in the hiring and firing process, we could dump this lame-o coach and hire somebody with a prayer of getting us to a couple Sweet 16s, maybe even an Elite 8.

Let me give you a piece of advice. Take it or leave it.
I have been involved in various internet discussion boards for over 20 years now dating back to the usenet days of rec.sport.basketball.college. I can say this with conviction. Very few people mind someone who speaks their mind or has a differing opinion than the norm, if they present that opinion in a reasonable manner with some facts to back it up.
But people tire of trolls. People who say something outlandish for the sake of getting a reaction. They aren't respected. They aren't listened to. They are eventually ignored.
So you can do one of two things. Continue to think it's awesome that people are ignoring you as some sort of badge of honor, but watch yourself become just a background noise that no one pays attention to. Or you can actually back up your points with a solid discussion.
I would prefer the latter because the more substantive discussion about any topic the better. But it's up to you.

I believe he can practice with the team now. So he should be pretty familar with the team on December 14th. However, there usually is some rust to shake off by not having played in a regular game.
In the grand tradition of Mike Kinsella, Terry Sanders and Krunti Hester, Luke will wear #40.

Looking at the schedule history, prior to the 2004-2005 season, we typically played them later in the month, as late as 12/23. Maybe we should return to those days and make them our second-to-last game before conference play starts.

The Buzz-related difference between me and you:
I am on record many times as criticizing Buzz when merited and praising him when deserved. I think he's a good coach, something clearly supported by his record, which few other coaches in the nation have matched. But that doesn't mean I think he is perfect, and I have openly questioned some of his lineup choices, etc.
You, meanwhile, blame him for everything and think we could go out and find a superior coach tomorrow. Based on what, I don't know. I guess it's our long history of finding great coaches since Al left. You resort to name-calling and other juvenile behavior, and you rip anybody who doesn't agree with you on everything. You are a joyless mope who never has anything positive to say about Buzz, his program or his players. Why even bother being a fan of the program? You obviously get no joy out of it, and, as we have covered, you have no alum connection.
I'm done with you. Congratulations. You are my first "ignore"!

Wrongo on all counts. I have sometimes used a name when called names, something you are an expert at(i.e. joyless mope) Wear the shoe--it fits you perfectly. I have said many positive things about Buzz--you can't read or discern, even with your self exalted MU degree.
