Title: Weekend at Jerry's?
Post by: Chicos' Buzz Scandal Countdown on November 11, 2012, 10:03:47 AM
Can we just make a formal thread addressing the widely-held rumor that Coach Wainwright has died?

Coach Buzz and AD Larry invite coaching veteran Jerry Wainwright to help coach a season at Marquette, when Jerry dies and nobody seems to notice except for Coach & AD. In order not to become suspects of murder they treat the body as a puppet and make people believe he's still alive, en route to a National Championship.

What a wacky misadventure!

Have to admit, I thought of this too.

With Buzz and Larry working together on this conspiracy you can also have the sub-plot that they hate each other (so some say on this board) but must work together to keep the conspiracy going.

What a farce!   ;D

THE UNDENIABLE TRUTH

Wainwright was deceased while at DePaul; worked as a zombie.  At MU he has resurrected both his being and his coaching career.

Anyone watching closely at the BC tonight could see the elaborate network of Marionette strings and cables hooked up to Jerry.

Actually, Jerry is a freshman engineering project, in action.  Hundreds of tiny, remotely controlled motors work together to create a lifelike assistant coach.   Note to self, don't forget the teal.

and Larry is running the controls back at the lair.  Robot Jerry is a spy engaged in sabotage and subterfuge.

Jerry had some good barking at the refs early in the game. Buzz just watched from the baseline and let him go.

All kidding aside, JW was in coach seat #1 the entire game while Buzz paced the baseline.  It reminds me of the old days with Al and Hank.  Let us not discount Jerry's basketball knowledge.  He'll be a great resource and is probably the best x and o coach we've had in many years.

A little confused by this since "Note to self, don't forget the teal." Was itself written in teal.

Yeah - I realize it's logically inconsistent.  Should have left those words in "black".   ::)

Zombies are the new vampires, right?  So maybe Jerry is just one of those old guys trying to act cool?
