Not much out there on him. He appears to be a 2012 guy though, which lends credence to the "Hiroshima" rumors from earlier this week.
I'd rather have Durley. I hope he doesn't choose us.
I wouldn't. And I hope that was teal. By all accounts, if much rather have this kid.
Interesting... seems like he'd be a good get. Hope we land him.

Why? The information out there on him is limited, so my impression is that he isn't that much better than Durley is, if at all.

Pretty pedestrian effort. But it is a sample of one.

And he's made up his mind already, but is waiting to announce his choice. Sounds like the school involved asked him to hold off on the announcement for a while. Like maybe they don't want to start rampant speculation on a message board we might know of.

The Scout board?

The Scout board?
No the Scout board is safe as its moderator wants to cover recruiting, not influence it.
Think extremely loud and incredibly close.

I do agree with you though, it adds up a little too nicely...
Yeah, no thanks.

Didn't play AAU this summer. Stayed in Maryland instead, worked out and lost 50 pounds. Seems like he could be a credible late bloomer story.
What are these Hiroshima claims? What are the rumors?

Pilarz and LW are firing up the Enola Gay and dropping bombs on any scholarship player with prior legal issues.
Cannot confirm whether or not warthog will be driving.

QuoteKevin Larsen Montrose Christian 2012 Forward-Center 6'9 230- This Danish big man showed he has major potential. He runs the floor hard, eats space and has descent touch. He showed a pretty baby hook and got above the rim on occasion. He is limited by a lack of overall athleticism but could translate into a high major prospect. Big 10 and Big East schools take notice, this bulky big man sets screens and can shoot from the top of the key.
Looks like this was from a year ago. "Lack of overall athleticism" aren't exactly the words you like to hear...

But we could use a big man with "descent" touch, right? ;)

Gardner has less than stellar athleticism and he's doing OK.
Apparently took home MVP honors in an All-star game with a 22/9/4 line.
GW apparently knows he is coming.
Will announce in the next week.
Move along, he belongs in the CAA.

That's valid, but how has this kid been rated by no one despite playing on a team with that much talent?

If any of this is Larry Williams' idea, he must have felt
very frustrated at Notre Dame.
He missed a bunny (dunk).
Yup, def MU material. ;)

Do you think Vander can teach him how to lay it in instead?
This guy apparently isn't coming to MU. Unlike Durley, though, he at least played for his high school team.

I have heard some sort of rumor about every returning player except Jamil, Davante and Otule....oh and Jake Thomas. The next few weeks will answer a lot of questions.
If guys are not going to be here next year, I hope that they already know who they are. But if they did, you'd think that it'd be out there because they'd want other schools to know, so they'd have the best chance to move on. Weird.

Well, it would depend on why they wouldn't be here. They could still want to be here and hoping they still get one last chance whether its academics/conduct.
My sources say nobody except Jake Thomas is going to be at Marquette next year, including Buzz. And as good as Thomas is, he might have trouble winning a few games by himself. Which explains Vitale leaving us out of his top 40.
