Ox is out. Jamail and Juan step up. It's that kind of season.
Remember, when we go down by 40 in the first 3 minutes, we got them right where we want them.
Crap, we got Badger Boy, Mike Kelley broadcasting.

anyone looking for the game on tv? just found it on at&t Uverse. channel 692/1692. it's a random "alternate" channel which happens to be broadcasting fox sports ohio tonight that is showing the game.
found on dish alternate channel 444
Where are you?
i'm in chicago. but i'm pretty sure uverse channel lineup is the same anywhere
Comcast or satellite?
Anybody got a link for the internet for those of us who are stuck at work Underwriting Home Equity Applications?
Thanks!
I dont get why we start every game out of control. We try to force fast breaks so much. Cant even hang on to the ball.
Hard to tell if were gona be hot tonight if we cant even get a fucking shot
Wow. First five minutes, one field goal and four turnovers. Two points. Every single game.......
This is the most brutal first 5 minutes a BB I've watched since a 7th grade girls game last year.

It does get old though.
i think we had 3 points last game. :)
It's actually sad that no one can learn how to start a game under control
Jae jacking 3s like hes getting paid to.
Six turnovers were brutal, just stupid ones, not forced. One by Juan, Mayo and Junior were just, well.......
SH playing zone so they will need to hit from outside.
This makes me sick
literally just annoying
Not one player can hang onto the ball
Sure glad we kept 'em guessing whether DG was playin' or not. Wouldn't want 'em goin' inside on us.
Yup, eight turnovers and 1 for 6 from three.
Least no real foul trouble yet. Junior with 2?
jwil nice passing and the shot from middle of zone AND THERE'S DWADE
Great effort by Wilson on that rebound.
MU needs Mayo to hit those open threes like he did early in the year. They are just, just missing.
Over last three games he is one for 11. They need to start falling

Based on what? Not sure how you can say that considering this team hasn't shot over 40% in 6 games.
Seems like all MU BE home games are on Mon and Tues nights while most of their road games are on the weekends. Much easier to get up for a Saturday game than a Tuesday game.

Yeah, let's blame the day of the week for a shitty enthusiasm level and ignore that MU is the hottest team in the conference which should be enough motivation to cheer.
I predict we will have the lead by half.....end of 2nd half ;)

Too many turnovers
Can't shoot over the zone
SH won't self destruct
Generally sucking ass tonight
Consecutive bunnies missed when MU had momentum. Have to make those. And another turnover by Junior.
could be worse. WI has 17 at half. IL/MSU 36-35 with 5 min left. yikes!
The fact we are only down 4 by sucking absolute ass is encouraging if we get it together. It also proves Seton Hall isnt good.
Literally every single time we got the ball with a chance to get on a nice run and cut the lead/tie the game we turned it over(everyone) or did a moronic drive for missed layup(DJO).
there's not much room on that ledge y'all are standing on. down 4 after that, I'm ok with it.
12TOs...terrible outside shooting. Down by 4.
Wont have another half like that. MU will win IMO.
As bad as they played, to be down by 4 is OK.

What is with Cadougan? For point a guard, he finds himself in the air with no options way too often and he just makes poor decisions. He does really, really good things out there, but you can never anoint him as good point guard until he stops the careless turnovers.
Anyway, I think we're going to mop the floor with the Pirates in the second half. I expect us to clean it up.
Seton Hall is not very good and MU playing to their level. Buzz will make some adjustments just like he has in the past games and then take care of business.
The bad: 12 turnovers and 1 for 8 from three.
The good: Pope has two fouls and Theodore not exploding yet.

Agree.
It'll be another ugly win but the signs point that way. Rushed, head-less, not engaged early, etc. are all things that can be solved after sitting on their ass for 15 minutes and regrouping.
Cadougan just isn't athletic enough
This is downright comical. Nice block on Junior. TO by Van. Brutal.
horrible start to the 2nd half. Cadougan is awful again today.

Yep, that says it. You can see the turnovers before they happen. Wilson not turning it over but playing pretty crummy-missing short jumpers, not spacing properly-DJO ran into him three times with the ball. Lucky the bunnies aren't falling and the threes have popped out for SHU or this could be a lot worse.
It continues to surprise how they let inferior teams dictate pace in the BC.
This is ugly basketball both ways. :P
What a shitty game.
18-4 so far. Too big men out. One day of practice without DG. Out of sync on offense, no interior defense. Why the surprise and disgust. What kind of miracles do you guys expect? If we start hitting shots, we will be fine. If not, we lose.
Junior is regressing right before our eyes.....I may have to refer to him as Freshman Coudagon. DJO is playing wildly out of control. I wonder if Lebron and Dwade treated him to lapdances all night or something....sheesh.
Turnovers are just brutal...tough to watch.

DG being out should not be a reason for such sloppy ball security. I do agree MU will pull this one out...some outside shots falling would be a good start.
at least we are releasing someone on inbounds plays - I've seen it twice

It's amazing how fans continue to use absences as an excuse for the god damn stupid turnovers this team guarantees five times a game.
I expect a top 15 in America competing for a title to be better then a mid-level team at home. That's not a miracle.
See: Vander.
A 3 by Van? A lead? Waaaaa?
OK, Vander is up for this. DJO finally gave it up on the break with a wonderful pass. Just wonderful.
Now just get #4 on Pope.
I have it from a very reliable source that Wade, Lebron, and Vander are going to Real Chili after the game tonight.
Well, without DG we don't get the easy interior baskets...we have to create "paint touches" through the drive...and we don't benefit from his passing from the post. I do agree that it doesn't excuse the sloppy ball handling, but his absence changes our offensive approach.
Nice double team. I expect better than this, too, but the world doesn't always bend to my whims. I predict we win with about a 10 minute stretch of good basketball. But honestly, we are due for a clunker.

Don't think anyone would disagree with that.
Now, jumping into a double team or leaving the feet with no option can't be explained away by Cookie Monster's absence.
God, Vander is such an athlete
Hell of a pass by Blue to Jae. He's feelin' it tonight.
I have to think playing in front of Lebron, Dwade and half the Miami Heat must bring out both the nerves and the adreneline for these guys....perhaps it has helped to spark Vander and caused others to press early on to impress? They have to be well aware those dudes are sitting a few seats away from them....how many times will they ever have a chance to play in front of them again...ever?

That is supposed to be in teal.

Lax defense on two straight possession and down to 5. Aided by a dumb foul by DWil.
OK, 10 point lead with 4:30 left.

Smart timeout. I would put Mayo in for Blue for the FT's. Even if TM is a liability on defense tonight.
A 3 from Vander!?! Really???
a good 3 with time running out
take the win and move on
Rather see him head to the rack.
Good teams can win even when they have an off night.
Sloppy win. Too slow out the game again, way too many turnovers, stagnant offense in 1st half. Turned up D in 2nd half, Blue and DJO picked up their offense, Cadougan actually had some decent passes and made most of his FTs. Take the W and move on. 19-4, 8-2. Beat the Irish!
Let's go kick the livin' piss out of ND!!!!!!
ND SUCKS.
Vander SOTG or Jae? Still lots of hate flowing Blue's way so sure he won't get ton of love but he had a great night shooting and 16pts/8rebs is a good stat line
Very important win here. DJO and Wilson had off shooting nights and Junior had too many turnovers, but they came out in second half again and pulled it out.
Notre Dame will be a tough game to win without DG, so the win tonight was imperative.
Funny about Wilson...he does everything right...until the ball rattles out of the hoop.
Honestly, he was close to putting up 16-18 pts tonight. It will come.
As Tower noted, only one practice without DG so consider this game an extended practice. Will need to do better Saturday.
JA looked pretty lost out there. Saw JJ lose a potential bunny out of bounds. Those two need to step up.
Only 2 bench points. Hurts to not have DG and send Jamil to the starting lineup, but we need a lot more out of that group. Pressure there on Mayo, only because not a lot is expected of the others.
Jamail brings nothing to the table. Biffed a wide open layup. Anderson plays hard but just doesn't "get it" yet. Mayo has been non existent, but have to think it's just the ups and downs of being a freshman. Will need mayo to knock down some threes against notre dame.

Nah, they're just kidding.
Since the bench play was lackluster, Derrick did win Mac's 6th man award for 3 rebounds in 9 minutes. Which made the difference in the 35-32 edge, very big reason for the W.

Honestly, I never felt that nervous tonight. I don't think that's a good thing. When we get down by double-digits to tourney-type teams, that should be a danger sign. This one had me concerned for a while. Usually when we fall behind early the other team is making everything and you know they won't keep it up. When Seton Hall was up 11 in the first half, I was thinking that they should be up 20 because they missed some easy close shots and had a bunch of unforced turnovers. Basically they were up 11 and weren't playing all that well.
That's why I don't participate in the in game chats. I'm always fearing the worst.

"Come on dude", where have you been the last few weeks. Pretty pessimistic, (and obviously wrong) to declare a loss in the first half, down by 11 at home to a so called "bottom feeder". If you don't like being called out then don't make the stupid comments.
Marquette is 8-2, in second place, one game behind Syracuse. That is contending for the title by definition alone. You can't change the facts, and pretend their record didn't happen. You ignore what they already accomplished, but take stock in something negative that might happen. Great support. It's almost like you are hoping for them to do poorly.
