Led the team in minutes played, too. That's encouraging.
We are all incredibly bias, but I still believe that Steve would be the reigning 3 point contest champion if given a chance. It's so incredibly rare to see a shooter with his size and high release point. Hope his performance further solidifies his chance at getting a roster spot.
Albeit a preseason game, but that was Novak's best game in an NBA career (sans his game winner to keep Houston's winning streak going back in the day).

Didn't he compete in a three point contest while at Marquette? I recall he did pretty well, but did not win it. Anyone remember?

If I recall he won the Men's NCAA 3 point shootout his senior year, but then went head to head with the female winner and lost.
At the college three point shootout / dunk contest this year that Lazar was in they showed the greatest moments of the decade in the event. Number one was Novak draining a record number of threes.
