Kolek planning to go pro
That’s great for them...but it would still have no impact on the game if the MU fans lose our focus. Hell, half of us could lose a kidney and it still wouldn’t impact the game a bit.
Yes because when fans lose focus, the team does.
So what are the key objectives to securing this win? Markus isn't going to be able to shoulder to load every game. My thoughts are below.1. Keep a steady rotation of Morrow, Theo, Heldt, and maybe Joey pressuring Happ, we need to wear him down.2. We can't double team Happ because he is a fantastic passer and will find the open guy.3. We need Sam to be dialed in.4. Markus needs to play within the flow of the game (did a great job of this against K-state)5. Keep our hands/forearms down, we know Becky will flop.Thoughts?
#5. Agree. If Markus gets one of these early and one up top on D....that maybe a recipe that will be detrimental to our success.
Personally, I love the match up for MU. Given MU's half court defense, if Bucky wants to slow it down and make it a half court game I love that. Given our size other than Markus(who still plays big) their guards posting up shouldn't be as much of a concern as years past.
Hey! This is supposed to be a fun thread with insults and hilarious memes! No strategy crap!
I was the high bidder on the "fly your flag on the school flagpole for a week" auction item at my kids' school fundraiser this year. The MU flag is flying proudly this week in the middle of Badger country.
I don’t see it. And I’m usually very optimistic but I rewatched the Kstate game and we played really well. But also, Bucky is KILLING it from 3 lately. And Kstate had plenty and plenty of open 3 looks. If they hit 40% like we know UW can we could be in for big trouble.
But I also have to think part of the gameplan was to concede some of those 3s since KSU is an abysmal 3P shooting team.
good point on the Happ fouling Brew...didn't know those stats. He is aggressive so Theo might draw that out.We definitely beat a Happ-less UW (pun not intended but it works )One of the few good things about the Ellenson year was beating UW.
