I pray to the Lord these guys are seniors.  They are an embarrassment to the University.

The admin. thinking these guys were good for the program is akin to New Coke.

They certainly aren't my beverage of choice, but I give them an A for effort, enthusiasm, creativity and balls.

You would not even be accepted to today's version of Marquette, so cut them some slack.

They certainly aren't my beverage of choice, but I give them an A for effort, enthusiasm, creativity and balls.

F on the creativity, but I'll give you the rest. I thought song parodies were funny and original when I was in 5th grade and Al Yankovic was big.
“All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.” - T.E. Lawrence

In an effort to redirect the topic, is it me or does Novak finally look like he added some bulk?  Maybe it's just that the camera adds 10 lbs.

Hah, that's too funny.  If folks here need to grow up, what do the SOD's need to do?  lol

They used to be funny and somewhat entertaining, I thought checkmate was hilarious and very well done, but lateley their stuff has been garbage and i have no idea how they keep getting MU basketball players in on their videos.

Just watched it.  Surprised this kind of crap still goes on in 2010.  Disgraceful.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Good point. I can't see how it can be enjoyable to make fun of some kids at your alma mater having some fun, but to each their own.

They might think they are having fun but they are really really bad.  Give it up already.

The best part of the video is Buzz jumping like he did in that game.

I was a big fan of Buzz before that, but him jumping like that in the baby blue jacket was flat out awesome and hilarious.  ;D

Anyone have a full clip of the fabulous Buzz jump and leg kick after DJO slammed home a put back dunk?

It stopped being a fun college thing when they posted videos to the internet.  My general rule is don't post things that you wouldn't say to someone's face.  I'd say everything here directly to them.  In fact, I think I already have!  hah.

The only reason I can come up with as to why these guys make posters so upset is because they get access to past and present basketball players.

Seriously though, who cares what these guys do?

I just don't get the negativity over something so silly and simple. I am infinitely more embarrassed by most of the responses in this thread than I am by some silly 18-22 year olds having fun with something that clearly has an audience.

Personally, I don't really care for what they do. But, I am not going to go out of my way to blast them from my anonymous handle on a message board. To do so, would truly be "lame."

FWIW, these guys have a pretty legit student fanbase. They have a huge number in their facebook group. Although its definitely not members of this board, these guys are in demand. That's why the university is responding. Maybe its a generational thing. I have no idea. But just because you guys don't like them doesn't mean everyone in the MU community thinks the same way.

You can sit here and bitch about it, or use your time and energy talking about Marquette basketball. I'm not gonna stop you from enjoying yourself whining about these guys, but it looks pretty immature and, if nothing else, a huge waste of time. Enjoy yourselves...

Looking immature is what they do best in their videos.
As an alumnus, there's no way I can say, "Hey, check out them Spanish O'Donnells! They rock!"

Ultimately, the fad of these dudes will fade and life will move on.

Unfortunately, it's not moving fast enough for some of us. lol

 Maybe its a generational thing.

The student ratio of haters to fans is probably around 1000:1  ...  tops. And that includes the groupies.
