Marquette 10.5pt Dog Tomorrow

Does this surprise anyone else?

I usually stay away from MU games, but I think that's a lot of points.

I suppose they are looking at Pitt's road thrashing of G'town and our home escape against G'Town.

Wow. 10.5 points in any BE game seems like a lot.

If MU can lose by 33 on the road against a top 10 team and by 2 to a horizon league team, 10.5 road dogs seems about right for this one.

Fair point. I still think I'd put money down on that.

So when we win by a couple it'll be a solid accomplishment.

ND is 8.5pt favorite at home against UConn which seems like a much more uneven matchup, to me at least.

I think 10.5 is a lot for a BE game, even more so given the pace Pitt plays.

Speaking of, is everyone boozed up to be soooooo in love with Katherine Webb? Don't get me wrong, she's box with her mouth closed... but those teeth look like Seabiscuit's.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

You can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking your head up the cow's ass, but wouldn't you rather take the butcher's word for it?

I wish we'd known each other... this is awkward.

I'm vacationing in Hawaii with my family, so the game is on at 7 a.m. here.

Having trouble finding a sports bar on Kauai that opens at 7!

As for the spread, 10.5 is a lot for any game involving two good teams. I never bet on games involving the alma mater, but if I had a gun at my head and was told I had to make a wager, I'd take the Warriors.

What sucks about getting old is that you no longer get a decent buzz but still often wake up with a headache.

Finding that out to be true unfortunately.

And, pretty please MU start the game hot, first half of the Georgetown game almost drove me over the railing at the BC.

It's times like this that I wish I was still a degenerate gambler. I would usually avoid teams I am a fan of, but 10.5 for a BEAST game and a team that's playing D like MU is tough to resist.

I can't believe you have the stones to complain about this....

Just ask a native Hawaiian from the Sheraton Residences.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
