Have heard from a reliable source that has worked with both of them that he's better at this point than LaChance was at the same point in his high school career.  He would be a really, really good get.

He definitely is. Already top 60 kid

Is Herro the 18 yo Sophmore or am I thinking of someone else?

I think that's Jordan McCabe

Is Marquette just conceding him to Madison at this point. Maybe they should step up their game and go harder after him. Gard's future and admissions might be Madison hurdles.  I think he is a better fit for Marquette academically and socially anyway. I would like to see him play well in the marquee matchups, versus running up big numbers against the lower tiered Woodland teams. It will be interesting to see how well he plays in playoffs this year. We really need this DePaul win today, Go MU!

This is a stretch. Herro & family love Madison.

& this race is by no means over. Herro really likes MU as well. He's only a sophomore, there is no rush to make a decision.

Herro isn't a make or break prospect.  If Marquette wants him, but ends up losing him to UW, that hardly portends to anything.

It portends to a 0-4 for record against Wisconsin in his 4 years there.

Herro is visiting DePaul today. Does that mean winless record against DePaul also?

Unlikely get from what is going around.  Wisky's to lose

Mark Miller thinks differently.

He is driving down to Chicago to see MU and DePaul.....

Long way to go and lots can happen but he really likes MU/WoJo.

To be fair, that was made in early Decemeber before Wisconsin made the offer first. Since then it's been all UW crystal balls (which are lame)

Herro & McCabe both have DePaul offers & are taking an unofficial to DePaul.

Not sure if you were insinuating they were making the trip just to see MU

I won't complain at all about Herro driving down to see Marquette get the win over DePaul. Granted, he's there to see their campus, but it's nice to reinforce that we're the better program.

Ditto. I hope Herro enjoyed watching our boys pretty much own DePaul -- and our fans take over the Horizon!

And we also beat Wisky in Madison - so there...!

I sure hope the recruits coming on Sat don't have an offer from Nova--cuz if same logic is used we might' be in big trouble.

Joe Krabbenhoft's dad is a hospital system CEO and big Republican donor in South Dakota.  I'm sure Tyler's dad will be fine.
