Groundbreaking singer, actor and political activist. He was 96.

Also ...

Richard Lewis, 75, says he was diagnosed with Parkinson's 2 years ago and now will retire from stand-up comedy. He says he will continue acting, and he just wrapped up filming for Curb Your Enthusiasm's 12th season.

One of my favorite Christmas songs that I listen to every year.

Mary's Boy Child

Hark, now hear the angels sing
A new king born today
And man will live forevermore
Because of Christmas day
Trumpets sound and angels sing
Listen what they say
That Man will live forevermore
Because of Christmas day

Harry was a good soul.
