Nice games for GE and JC though. Good to see them play well. Thanks for Rowsey finally showing up too.

Sam.

But Cain, Elliot, and Anim all contributed.

If it’s anybody, it’s Sam

But that block by Elliot after missing his two free throws was HUGE.

Really?  We played like garbage but Sam was really good and we don't win that game without him.

Clearly Hauser, but if anyone is still questioning why haanif left just watch the contributions of elliot and sacar tonight.  Neither apectacular but better than haanif.

Did you and PF watch the game?  Sam “fouls” the guy taking the 3 at the end and you throw away the rest of Sam’s game?

Well for almost the entire game our offense was Sam. We were lucky to win with only one of five cylinders firing. One of the most painful games to watch in the past decade. Sam is the only one who deserves it.

Ugly game, we played poorly.  Sam, however, did not.  He played great.  He is a deserving stud of the game.

Sam, unquestionably.

But kudos to Greg for some big defensive plays and a smart foul.

Should be unanimous: Sam

Nobody else even gets an honorable mention. Maybe Elliot...if he could make free throws.

SOTG should be Marquette Fans' cardiac strength. Sheesh. Just when you think a game should be a lock its a headscratching nailbiter.

Yes, agreed.  Sam was studly.  My mental state is more a result of the quality of play by the rest of the team.  Just barely beating, at home, EIU.  Ughhh.  In more complete fairness however, we did expect there would be losses to teams we should beat.  This was almost one of those, and we did pull it out in the end.

So yes, Sam.  Deservedly Sam.

Sam was awesome

But this game was so poor I figure after the really poor foul. Just toss the award out.
