Was expecting a down game tonight for Hawks vs. Oilers.  Hawks went down 4-0 quick.  Now down 6-4 late in second.  Hmmm....impressed that they didn't fold and looking forward to the 3rd.

Have to get Perry signed now.  Does the streak for you guys end tonight?  Down 2 in the 2nd.  You have been on an epic run, that's for sure.  Congratulations, whenever it ends, just crazy what you have done.

Perry locked in.  Nicely done.  Enjoy tomorrow night's game--should be a good one!

Wish I was going...can't...big presentation to do.  I am going Friday to Red Wings - Ducks.

Glad we got Perry, also can't believe $120 million for 2 hockey players.  Insane.

Early flight tomorrow, so I'm not gonna make it to the end.  Great game so far.  Amazing hockey (after slow first period for Hawks), even without Perry, Hossa and Sharp.  Biggest crowd in Duck's history, a good loud portion if them Hawks fans.  Love to see this as a playoff series this year.

I thought you had us.  You were dominating for awhile. Great game, hope to meet you in the playoffs as that would mean the two teams are playing to get into the NHL Finals.

Go Ducks. Go Warriors.

Giving this a bump for the 2nd season that will begin soon. Blackhawks 1 point away from clinching the Western Conference top seed.

22 straight years for Hockeytown. Now we need to ride this momentum and make it 5 cups during the streak

I'd support changing the city name to Hockeytown, a lot better than Detroit.

I'm not happy we have the Red Wings.  Not happy at all.  They are playing really well.  I would swap places with the 3, 4, 5, 6 seeds in a second.  UGH.

Agreed, so happy the Hawks have the Wild. I wanted no part of the Blue Jackets, or the Wings in the first round. Just something about playing a team from your own division is iffy to me.

Obviously that all changes next year as far as the divisions go.  Hawks and Wilds get a jump on next years rivalry.  IMHO the only way the Wilds have a chance is if Backstrom is standing on his head the whole series.  Wilds also have the 3rd highest team salary in the league behind Vancouver and Philly and barely snuck in the playoffs.

No one knows.  Ducks haven't released it to my knowledge.

+1--was dreading a first round with Red Wings.  Don't have the same fear of the second round, if they make it (unlikely) and the Hawks make it through the Wild (likely, esp with how banged up they are).  Just had the weird first round feeling.

Big sigh of relief from the Hawks game last night. After a soft goal early Crow seemed to settle in. Now if Backstrom isnt hurt who do the Wild start?

If Backstrom is OK he is the starter.  Harding made his first start in 3 months last night and he is dealing with his illness.

Darcy Kuemper has been called up. The Hawks may have to face him. Prepare to get stonewalled!!

Darcy turns 23 on Sunday. What a sweet story that would be... Wild goes up 2-1 with a win for the birthday boy.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Or the Hawks will figure it out and play like theyre supposed to and score 5 goals because Ryan Suter will be exhausted from playing 30-40 minutes a game.
