Washington spent $71K. Nearly half of that on food, for nine recruits. They did save on travel being able to fly everyone direct.

Obviously, ice sculptures are a necessity to land a kid - they got eight of the nine to sign.  Oh, and the story identifies multiple violations.  I wonder if UDub reported them. :)

I don’t know how teams will be able to swing any NIL costs.

But think of the unfair advantage NIL will give the major programs. How will East Carolina ever compete with Clemson without a level playing field?
