Anyone think Buzz will have the boys working on some defense the next few practices....like intensely?

Five of last six UW baskets have been backdoor.  Whoops, make that six of seven.  Either layups or dunks.
Just terrible defense.

Think both of the above illustrate Otule's value to the team..covers up a lot of deficiencies and this Ndyaie dude would be a non factor with Chris in the game...

If we are as good as our ranking, someone will step up.  Who will it be? Jae?

Offensively, Jae is starting to heat.  Defensively, he needs to stop trapping well above the arc.  It has cost MU 6 points on 3 slams.

I feel a few DJO clutch shots coming on.....also, we are in the bonus and he can create shots (and contact) off the dribble.

Is it just me or do you guys think cadougan is a non factor? He cannot keep anyone in front of him. Would rather have derek wilson with his stellar d in a game like this. We have enough guys that can contribute.

It was quick, not forced.  Came in the flow.  He can make those.  Similar to the missed 3 by Mayo - he took it quick on the break, but he can make those.

Worst game by Junior that I can remember...wonder if more is going on in his head that is impacting him....just horribly forgettable night for him.

I thought the offense looked a little lost with him on the bench

I agree...I just wish he was making them tonight before letting it fly so quickly.   UW's defense is not good....we can get better shots.  Anyway, I agree that he can and does make those often.

Nice to see Otule in the huddle.  Hop it's not as bad as feared.

Jamil Wilson really made a bad decision on that last putback.  From where the shot came, no need to rotate around to the front of the hoop.

Why is Mayo not in the game?  Get Junior out..and Mayo in...Mayo can play the point...and is a better defender and shooter...

frackin wow.    Not pretty and not our best....but, give kudos to Washington as they played a fantastic game and worked hard as hell on the boards and all night.   Also, great experience for MU to win a close one like that in non-conference play.....deep breath....another sip of scotch....set the alarm clock...wake up with a smile.
