Just an FYI for anyone in the Milwaukee area that wants to see Prtizl and some high-level AAU ball, this Friday has a ton of nice options from 6-10pm at Homestead High School in Mequon. I think Friday admission is $5. The also play Saturday and through weekend, here is schedule: http://ny2lasports.com/EventSchedules/2%202014%20Invitational%20Schedule%20Version%20B.pdf

17U
Brevin Pritzl and WI Playground Warriors
7:10 pm vs IL Stars
Court 5

Matt Heldt and Milwaukee Spartans
6:00 pm vs. Chicago Lockdown
Court 5

Cody Schwartz, Mason Domask and Wisconsin Blizzard Pronschinske
9:30 vs. IL Irish
Court 5

16U
IMO the team to watch is Wisconsin Academy - Kostroski, one of the best 16U teams around.
They have the best collection of sophomores (2016) in the state. I put their Mark Miller player rankings in parenthesis.  Sam Hauser (1), Trevor Anderson (2), Cole Schmitz (9), Jack Popp (14), Max Meylor (18) and Seth Kostroski (24).
9:30 pm vs. IL Irish
Court 6

Mark Miller ‏@WisBBYearbook 6m

Two days after earning an offer from Wisconsin, De Pere and WI Playground Warriors WG Brevin Pritzl has picked up an offer from Marquette.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

No one knows just how long Bo Ryan will stay on the job.  That uncertainty and Wojo's credentials may open things up for in state recruiting.  The 2015 recruiting class should tell us a lot.

The info on the under 16 team reminded me, weren't we supposed to get a 2016 commitment any day about six months ago?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Good call.  It got moved back by 2 weeks.  So I think the timeline still works?

Hopefully with a vacuum in Madison with Bo's departure and Wojo's seasoning to take hold, the recruiting backroads in the state can be firmly grasped thereby solidifying the case for Wojo to build HIS program and OWN his program.

Uncertainty? Departure? Bo Ryan just signed a new 5 year extension and those close to him say they don't see him stopping any time soon. Also, I get that you're naturally excited with your new coach and all, but what exactly are Wojo's "credentials" aside from being an assistant at Duke. The man has never coached a single college basketball game as a head coach.

Anyway, I fully expect Pritzl to be be a Badger when it's all said and done.

Bo is leaving when Bo wants to leave, and that isn't for a very long time ala Joe Paterno.

What were Kevin Ollie's coaching "credentials" before winning a National Championship in his 2nd year? Fred Hoiberg? NBA teams just had a bidding war over Steve Kerr....http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/05/14/steve-kerr-spurns-knicks-_n_5327179.html?flv=1

You might be right about Pritzl...but then again you likely said the same thing about Looney, Vander Blue and Wesley Matthews.

True, Wojo has never lost an NCAA game to a team seeded lower than his.

And Bo has only seen an NCAA championship game from the stands.

from NY2LA today

llinois Stars vs. Wisconsin Playground Warriors 7:10 PM – Homestead HS – Court 5 Some of the best players in the country will be on the floor in the second game of the evening. The Illinois Stars, led by future Big Ten players Aaron Jordan (Illinois) and Brandon Hutton (Iowa), matchup against one of the hottest prospects in the country Brevin Pritzl and Nick McGlynn of the Wisconsin Playground Warriors. Both teams are very deep and feature a number of future division one players.

I hope the Pritzl recruitment doesn't leave us salty.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

And the decision is....Beer and Pritzls.....or wait....add mustard....wait...some people want added salt granules. Many decisions lie ahead.
