Blue, Gardner, Cadougan impressive in scrimmage

The Golden Eagles completed their second week of practice Friday night with a 27-minute scrimmage at the Al McGuire Center.

Blue made a spate of 3-pointers

Wow - I looked it up and a "spate" is "A large number of similar things or events appearing or occurring in quick succession" (I love the internet), but gosh, even if a spate, in this case, is three, I love the terms "spate", "3-pointers" and "Blue" all being present in the same sentence.  OK, a bit of a run on sentence but WTH.

Looking forward to more summaries of the scrimmage.   :)
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

Juan was very active--surprised and thrilled at that.

Smoove is better than ever down low.

Ferguson seemed to be ridden by buzz a lot. Sent to scoters table and then told to come back to bench. Also put in for a play and yanked--for a lesson.

Buzz was leaning on wainsright--back and forth.

Hoping to see more scoring or looks from Lockett.

Swanson subbed for smoove on def situations--otule was on the other team keep in mind.

Jake isn't shy from beyond 3.
