Upgrade to campus food?
« on: May 02, 2014, 11:24:44 AM »
Marcus Lemonis who's a MU alum and star of CNBC's show "The Profit" might buy Portillo's. How sweet would it be if he put one on campus? Let's be honest the food options are a bit limited and we could always use more.

Just the other week I went with my friend to pick someone up at Ohare just so I could go eat Portillos.

Been hooked on the "Profit" sitting in hotel rooms. Love his approach to failing businesses

Might have to re-enroll at MU if this happens.

Hot dogs?

Actually, the best dogs anywhere are in Copenhagen. They are foot long and served with fried onions. I once routed a flight through Copenhagen's airport in order to eat Danish dogs. I bought several and threw them in my helmet bag but they weren't nearly as good the next day. Still, when fresh they are incredible.

Gotta get the combo.  You can get hot dogs at Dog Haus.  Those are all the same.

I do not believe so.  I believe the closest one to Milwaukee is about 10 miles south of Gurnee on 41.
