“Bo” rounded out a three-year career on the varsity by playing a whirlwind game at the tackle position. The consensus of opinion at the end of the season was that he was one of the best tackles in the West. He soon instilled into opposing backfields a wholesome regard for his prowess and after a few futile attempts at his side of the line, they usually looked elsewhere in their vain attempts to pierce our stonewall line.
