 **April, 2008:** The young center has the potential to evolve into a dominant defensive player. He is already a very effective shot blocker who is equally effective when guarding the ball or rotating from the weak side of the floor. He can be overpowered from time to time because he is very lean physically. However, he has excellent agility, lateral quickness, and timing, which should enable him to eventually become an elite level shot blocker once he is able to fill out his frame. Offensively, Carson is very limited. Although he runs the floor well and shows a nice touch when facing the basket from 18 feet and in, he isn't as much of a threat inside the paint as a player his size should be as he lacks a go to move with his back to the basket as well as the physical strength to finish consistently against contact.
