Calvelli's St. Catherine's squad was dominant, featuring future Marquette teammate Jim Poulsen as well as Chuck Wood, who played on the Loyola (IL) national championship squad. St. Catherine's traveled to Washington D.C. to compete in a national tournament, losing to an Archbishop Carroll squad led by future basketball hall-of-famer, John Thompson.
Marquette Career
Rocke averaged 5.7 points per game during the 1963-64 season and 8.8 points per game during the 1964-65 season.
