This location has been the site of many great Marquette bars. From the [[Ardmore Bar]], to [[The Gym Bar]], to Big Shots. Caffrey's is following the tradition of great Marquette bars by creating a huge following in the community. Everything from the popcorn machine to the fabulous pitcher cards keeps the tradition alive.  Caffrey's still allows students to exchange their used Marquette ticket stubs plus $1 for a pitcher of Lite, MGD, or High-Life.  The Dollar Pitchers were so enjoyed, that there was often no need to first pour the beer into a glass.
