You can almost hear the venom in Buzz's voice in that last quote in DeCourcy's article. Good riddance. I don't know Mbawke's reasons, but the way he did it was wrong, and the team will be better off without him. He'll have no problems competing academically or otherwise in the Big Ten.

My guess is that he really wasn't very happy at the end of last year, but that he was pursuaded (by Buzz and/or his teammates) to stick it out given that he was injured and all.  However, as classes drew near, he still wasn't real happy and decided to leave.  I can't be all that upset about it.

wish him well as history says he has moved around abit, as far as MU goes I think better sooner then later, maybe not soon enough or maybe the timing works out. Time will tell and now others have opportunites.  After this year Buzz will be close to all the players he brought in given the circumstances, and I am sure Lazar, Mo, Patrick and Cubie have the focus to contribute at MU. Given that we could still see some changes just how things are every year it happens. GO MU
