Ticket Suggestions?
« on: December 29, 2006, 09:45:16 AM »
I am a single father of 7 and 4 year old boys and am thinking of taking them to their first MU game tomorrow. Any suggestions on best way to get tix?

Getting tix tommorow will be very easy.  You could get them on line at tickemaster.com right now or go directly to the ticket window tomorrow at the BC.  You could probably get cheap tix from scalpers near Goolsbys as well.  These NC buy games during semester break are not that well attended.

went to the Oakland game with my son and was walking up to the ticket office and a guy gave me two tickets.    Said thank you very much and walked three feet and another guy tried to give me free tickets.

Thanks for the tip.  I figured I would just walk up, but wanted to make sure that is still the easiest way when we face the Savannah States of the world during the break.

Do NOT get them from ticketmaster, as the seats they will give you will stink .. unless you just buy the cheap ones and move.

Tomorrow's game will be lightly attended .. so DO NOT pay any more than $9 for a seat .. buy the $9 end zones, and sit anywhere you want in the upper deck.  Move downstairs at half, there'll be the usual thousands of blue empty seats to choose from, owned by no-show season ticket holders who are exhausted from the long cold block-buster OOC games that are finally coming to an end.
