Might help bricklayers - dont think this will have much effect.  NBA line would effect %.
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

Good article.

I think Coach Williams is correct when he says that the increased distance will not hurt the pure shooter but will hurt the marginal ones------also agree with Bruce Pearl's comment about the increased distance meaning more zones.

I think a coach should teach their players to take open jump shots without looking where their feet are. It would seem to me if you look where your feet are before you shoot you are giving the defense time to close and are taking your eye off the basket. In other words, if you are worried about where the line is your shooting percentage is going to drop.

Won't be any more difficult locating the new arc anymore than it was difficult to locate the old line.

Murff, there will be two lines ( men and women ) in some gyms.  Obviously, the floor at the BC will only have one line.  But there will be two lines in many arenas.  Will be somewhat confusing as guys (and, gals ) are on the move.

You mean players can't tell the top line from the bottomline? If not color them differently, but that shouldn't be necessary.
