Homer and Majerus
« on: March 14, 2011, 03:42:21 PM »
Just listened to Rick Majerus talk about Xavier on Homer's show. Rick said that Xavier is tough, they lost twice to them, very experienced, tough rebounding and have three guards that will give us trouble. He did say that Crowder should have a field day running against their bigs. He suggested running a zone at them.

Homer also said he had Buzz on his show at 6PM tonight and would ask Buzz about the three jobs he is being mentioned for, but he did not expect to get anything from him on them.

Is it possible for Homer to talk to someone who actually has beaten them. No offense to Coach Ricky but I would prefer a better gameplan than he provided.

"Yee haw, I'm on the next plane out to go milk Bud Walton's spawn."

I don't think it matters what he says.   Actions, actions, actions with coaches.

Buzz said something like "I'm focused on winning this weekend. Then we'll go from there"

Was Majerus in Milwaukee? Do you think Buzz spoke with Majerus?

I do not think he was in Milwaukee--he was on the phone. If he was, there would not have been time to talk to Buzz. Rick would have been to Real Chili, and to Usingers to stock up on Brats and sausage.
