Pitt down by 1 at Oklahoma State with 38 seconds left in OT

the only thing I like about this loss... makes Wisconsin not look as powerful, as if say Pitt would have blown out OK St.  However on the other side, makes the BE look worse

Gray looked dominating tonight. With his ability to step out and hit the mid-range jumper we could have some serious issues defending him. While i know this was an issue before after watching him tonight it just got scarier. I just don't know if Ooze has the versatility to guard Gray without getting in serious foul trouble. Just an observation.

Man...after watching that game, all you have to do is point to Gray's free throw shooting as one of the biggest reasons they lost (2 for 7).

When we play them, I have no problem with throwing Burke, Lott, Trend, Ooze, and Fitz at him.  Have the big man beat us at the line.

Wait...then again...they'll probably game plan for us in the same way.

I would hope by March our free throw dilemma is no longer an issue.  Fingers crossed.

Pittsbirgh need look no further than the free throw line to explain their loss.  Two missed front ends of one and ones int he last two minutes of regulation and quite a few before that down the stretch.  Also in the last minute they missed another one in the super bonus.  Continued to miss them in the first OT and the second.  OSU shot 80+, pitt around 60%. Ballgame.
Also, it has not been brought up yet but how fitting was it that that thug Graves lost the game for PITT with a senseless foul in throwing the OSU player to the floor.  Sort of reminds me of a play like that last year against MU that incorrectly was not called an intentional foul.  His poor decison making early let the game slide to OSU with fade away threes on a couple of occasions in critical possesions.  Let's hope he shows his stupidity in full colcors against MU.  Let's just hope no one gets hurt.  THUG!

I think we're going to need a healthy Kinsella for the Pitt games.  He could have one of those games that doesn't look like much in the box score, but if he could hold Gray to single digits, we've got a great chance.

If we can hold Gray under 20, I like our chances. We just can't let him go "Alando Tucker" all over us.

I think we can do better than "holding him under 20."  Just ask McRoberts.  :)

really have to appreciate the development of Gray.  More reason to consistently recruit the 6'11" Big man with size and see what happens.  Was Gray all that in HS?
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

Gray really wasn't much in highschool. Obviously he had something to offer, and just being 7' with some athleticism is enough to get big time schools interested. He came in at over 320 lbs, 5 years later he's into the form we see now.
