animations
« on: April 11, 2008, 11:05:25 AM »
Is there a way to limit the size of the animations under the posts?  My computer freaks out a little bit when I'm scrolling.  The one's on the left don't seem to do any harm, just the big ones underneath (Simpson's and the bee in particular).

Thanks!

Actually, now that Chicos made the bee smaller it isn't slowing anything down.

I think the signatures are getting out of control.   Gotta take my seizure medication every time I look at some of these sigs/avatars that are blinky blinky.

You can set your preferences so that no signatures are displayed:

1) Click the "Profile" tab at the top
2) Click "Look and Layout Preferences" on the left
3) Select "Don't show users' signatures."
4) Click "Change Profile"

Signatures that are larger than an average post are too much. Honestly, when it takes up half a 19" monitor it is too big. Out of control I tell ya.
But I like to throw handfuls...

At 1.8 megs, it's just freaking ridiculous.  Come on.
