If you want the program to be relevant and spend NIL money to keep and attract players, you should be in favor of this type of program.  If not, then don't participate, just donate money anonymously, problem solved.

As far as crypto goes, everything is being moved onto the blockchain, whether you like it or not.  You probably won't notice any changes even though the transformation is happening right now.

I signed up for this today to check it out - I'm not worried about my data privacy - not like anything I'm doing isn't already being tracked by other companies and auctioned off accordingly. I linked a card I hardly use.

Got 10,000 points for joining - another 1,000 for being a "rookie" and 100 points for a daily check in.

You can redeem your points for some decent things-

Two lower bowl seats = ~115,000-150,000 points (varies depending on game)
Autographed Jersey - 99k points
Autographed Basketball - 75k points
$25 spirit shop = 25k points

I am curious how they give points for purchases at the Fiserv/partners - does it translate to 100 points per dollar spent?
2 beers = ~$26 at the fiserv if you're drinking Busch light. 2600 points? or 260....

You forgot to hand out the pull tab that gives a 1-10% discount on their next purchase if they win!

NIL support and fan engagement programs are fine, but let's be realistic about what this actually is. Branding a basic fan loyalty app with crypto back-end tech doesn't suddenly make it an engine for major NIL funding. NIL dollars come from serious boosters and collective alignment, not passive app points.

As for the blockchain point — people have been saying 'everything is moving to the blockchain behind the scenes' for nearly a decade. Right now, stablecoin settlement is just an efficient payment rail for backend processing. Claiming it's taking over the entire world behind the scenes is overstating where technology actually sits today.

Better yet, I'm going to do neither.
