I am sick for Jalen Williams. He worked so hard to get back, and he was playing great. The injury he suffered last night looked gruesome, and it will be another long road back for him.

Obviously sucks for the Thunder, too. They were looking like the team to beat in the early going.

I was thinking about it watching the first game against the Wolves, even moreso now.  Has there been a successful team recently, hell ever, that had a top 2 (I guess even 3) stars that didn't include a guard?  Giannis and Bam, then I guess Portis or Wiggins?  Pretty risky sort of roster in today's NBA.  I like Mitchell, but if he ends up being your #3, he either made a huge jump in his late 20s or their returns on Wiggins/Portis contract's are awful.  Either way not good.

I have always liked Jovic's game a lot, but its about time he shows something too, they are certainly paying him enough.  But again, another forward.

If anyone has earned the benefit of the doubt, its Pat Riley and Spoelstra, but they are working on a fourth straight season without a playoff series win after the '23 Finals.  Mitchell, Dru Smith, Pelle Larsson, Conwell, an aging THJ, and the ghost of Klay Thomson is a hard fighting competitor for worst backcourt collection in the league.

My buddy sent a IG video link to it in a group chat.  One person said something similar to you.  My other friend immediately replied "they sent SGA to the line for FTs for that right?" which made me chuckle.
