Meh. Ultra wealthy guy made a donation to the school for $2.6M that is supposedly going to revenue sharing. Not a groundbreaking thing.

But.. their AD or whatever guy was pretty forthright re: rev share numbers this year. Memphis went from $5M a year ago to $9M this season. The have football but are able to go that high in bball this year because they're only giving $7M to football.

Former Purdue big man Trey Kaufman-Renn, arguably the most accomplished player fighting for an extra year of eligibility, is headed to Kansas.

Kansas announced Kaufman-Renn's addition Monday, and he joins Melvin Council Jr. and Tre White as players on KU's roster who previously exhausted their eligibility but joined — or rejoined — the Jayhawks in the last three weeks after favorable court decisions.

Are we to assume someone like Kaufman-Renn won't be eligible till the spring semester? I'm mean you can't just enroll at midterms and be eligible, can you? Porter has at least been on Marquettes campus since classes started. Or have we completely given up the charade of student-athletes?
