Id prefer he never make eye contact with a player again either..

For the player's sake, I'd avoid the hype. Hamilton seems to be a great team guy, just maybe not even a D1 talent. He doesn't deserve what he got.

Speaking about players Shaka "hyped" before most Scoopers knew how good they were, he was dead-on about Morsell, Oso, Kolek, Kam, OMax and Stevie, and pretty darn close with Jop and role-player Ross (as opposed to main-man Ross).

Last season was a disaster because he was so wrong about so many players - Ross, Gold, Lowery, Jones and of course the evil 18.

I guess that's why some of us are willing to give him a mulligan. He had a terrible year. Now hopefully his hype-meter is "back" on track.

I want him to speak the truth. If he honestly feels good about hyping Nigel - as he did last year, but nobody seems to mind that one - or Phillips now - I want him to do so. I just want him to be right, of course.

I get it. Just to be clear Hamilton didn't hype himself, he didn't sign the checks he received and he did not put himself into the games.

Let us not forget that SS started 18 for more than half the freaking season. It was pure insanity.

I don't recall a single scopper disagreeing with you halfway through last season.
