To the original question, here are some I'd like to see in the future:

ACC
  • Duke: They seem willing to schedule anyone, might as well get the shine of playing those games if you can.
  • Louisville: High profile program that will bring attention and has great history.
  • Notre Dame: If they aren't too cowardly...

Big Ten
  • Purdue: I know, we've played them recently, but if they're in the top-30 regularly and the relationship is good, why not keep it going?
  • Minnesota: Medved has them on the rise and they are a program we haven't played much of late despite playing them a lot in the past. Why not renew the rivalry?
  • Michigan State: Good program, long history, relatively close, let's turn the exhibition into a regular thing.

Big 12
  • Cincinnati: Great historic rivalry, feels like a team we should be playing.
  • West Virginia: Keep the Huggins history going, TK singing "Country Roads" was a great reminder of why we should renew acquaintances.
  • Iowa State: If they're going to come take all the in-state players we want, they might as well give us a return game for the favor.

SEC
  • Kentucky: One of the best NCAA Tournament rivalries of all time, one of the few SEC programs that feel like we have meaningful historic ties with.

Others
  • Gonzaga: Another prominent Catholic school, probably the only non-P5 really worth pursuing for a home-and-home.
  • UW-Milwaukee/UW-Green Bay: Only as guarantee games, but if they're willing to do it I can see saving money on travel by hosting those two.
  • High Point/Akron/Northern Iowa/McNeese: I was always a fan of home games like Belmont, Fresno, and Vermont that were coming off tourney appearances but willing to come as buy games. Get those consistent high-level buys because you can get Q2/Q3 games out of them.
  • Weber State: It's my wife's alma mater, would be a fun family buy game.

University of Florida. Or UCF or Miami or even our old friends USF. Make them the tree again.

Al McGuire and Jerry Tarkanian were friends. UNLV is heading in the right direction with Josh Pastner. A home and home with them would be cool, and a built-in lure to plan a Vegas trip.

They're not doing a home and home with a Mountain West school.
