Shaka admits he was wrong judging his talent last year, clueless no way. Mistakes happen, it's how he corrects them this year.  I believe he has  a really good group this year, and if retention is good really good the following year.  Phillips will be no better then 8th man, hope I am wrong.

MU sucked. Shaka screwed up. MU had its worst season ever. 18 ruined everything. Shaka's seat should be blazing hot. MU was an embarrassment.

It was therapeutic and educational.  Great opportunity to work on mixing Jesuit discernment, stoicism's dichotomy of control, with a dash of embracing the opportunity to learn about and observe human nature.

But it's also true that some were raising red flags over Shaka's roster strategy and where it would lead us, and that was largely met here with mocking and derision from the RGV acolytes.
It kind of still is, tbh.

I think we're all glad that Shaka has at least to some degree learned from his mistakes.

Not really. The vast majority said "well it's worked so far." There was very little mocking and derision.

You're saying a season where we were at one point 14-2 & ranked #22 and a season where we won 20 games but had a stupid schedule are equal to a 20 loss season? I'm sorry that's a ridiculous take. Even 04 at least they made the NIT (embarrassing themselves)
