They should bring back that 1934 Packard with all the living members of the Championship team posed around the car. It would be a great reunion gift for the players.

I think we're supposed to get New Jerseys this year anyways? Are they saying it'll be designed as an homage to that team all season or this is a one off?

To the second point, this might be unpopular but I feel like they should have a mini "HoF room" in the stadium for games as it is. Show the tournament title, the runner up, and final four, conference championship trophies. Then just a visual showcasing our program's tradition. Wouldn't take up a ton of space, would be something for people to stop and look at or take a picture with in the hall way during games. Certainly better than having them collect dust in the Al 99% of the time. [/list]

The Jordan Brand extension release mentioned "the men's and women's basketball programs will both feature new uniform designs in the upcoming seasons, beginning with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 1977 National Championship team in 2026-27."

Guessing it's more than a one off.

I wouldn't mind if they kept the retro golds and player designed jersey from last season as well.  Think this would be a great set:

• Retro Golds
• Player Designed Baby Blues
• 1977 White Jersey
• Current Navy?

This is what I was picturing.  I'd be more than willing to swap the Navy for another one.  Maybe a 2003 navy.

If they truly want to honor the 77 team, just roll out the 77 jerseys home and away (along with the warm-ups... although would the arrowheads on the sides be allowed in this day and age?)

But I'm not sure the NCAA would allow untucked jerseys? Maybe request a waiver for one year? That would be classic - literally and figuratively.
