I hope we're having 'me or the coach' discussions.  That probably means NIL has evolved to the point of contracts.  Today that discussion wouldn't happen.  They would just leave the next year and make money from another school.

Also I'd imagine no one on scoop is getting to be in that hypothetical position - unless of course players start taking Scoop-Bucks as pay.
