Glad you bought the tickets. If I lived in Milwaukee, even "one bad year" would not keep me from buying them for this coming season.

What years would you say they were "winning tickets" since 78? Pending the price I'm thinking about 7yrs (24, 23, 13, 12, 03, 96, 79)? I guess it depends on your opinion of 5-11 seed years (let alone bubble or flat out down years) but honestly not sure I'd keep buying with those numbers over the last 48yrs.

But to each their own.

If you get blazed out of your mind before the game, no need for beer.  Though, I offered to buy Willie a beer at the games but he never took me up.  And the dining options around Fiserv have improved.  You don't have to spend on what Fiserv offers

Haven't smoked/done edibles since my mid 20s, the anxiety's not worth it for me. 100% true about the food

For Saturday games, I prefer the Uncle Wolfie's 2 bloodys pregame. Then maybe a beer at brat house. Kinda like that routine.

Back in for my season tix as well. Winters suck and I want something to do (and really enjoy Marquette basketball most of the time). Since I still don't own a place in Savannah to run to yet for a warm weather refresh, trips to MKE for basketball help.

As a Chicagoan, I'm loving these neutral site games just a few miles from my pad. But nothing beats a saturday afternoon game in Milwaukee. Goolsby's pre-game then Mader's for an indulgent German dinner. 

Absolutely doing multiple weekends in Milwaukee, especially if the squad meets or exceeds expectations. I have a feeling Nigel James is going to be can't-miss viewing and I'm pumped to see what Minessale and Fru add

I am not renewing my tickets this year for the first time in 10-15 years. It's not so much about the level of play because I do think we'll be much improved. But with price increases and the resale market being pretty dead for MU games, it just makes sense.

Might bite me in the ass for Wisconsin or UConn, but we'll see.

Out of curiosity which years do you feel you got your bang for your buck? Is it just general being at marquette games? Is it a year where we're competitive regardless of side of the bubble? Or is it a year we're competing for a phenomenal seed, in the running for a conference title, etc?

I like how you think, my friend. If I still lived in Chicago, I'd be a season-ticket holder and wouldn't think twice about renewing every year.

All of it. This year was frustrating--less because of the record but mainly because there were very few games on weekends in non con in MKE.

And PC at 25, Nova at 29 and no SJU (unless I missed it after checking a couple of times). Interesting. I know that it is a guess based upon current rosters, so SJU will show up in later versions.

I hate it when the posts get cute and use the logos instead of simply listing the schools' names. Gimmicky!

If these actually came to fruition this would be an incredible year for the Big East. Here's to hoping it happens, I think after a few tough 3 bid years we need a year where we're back to 5-7 teams sitting on the right side of the making the tournament conversation

Yeah, it's a "make believe" top 40 but they are at #34. Just saw Creighton at #33. Let's hope that our home game vs. them in December gives some credibility to the MU/UW spread shown here.

Winter should be one of the better bigs in the conference, yes. But their additions are a bunch of guys from Hofstra, Miami (OH) and GWU to replace the likes of Blackwell and Boyd. It just doesn't look like a very strong roster.

Then again, for all the (deserved) sh!t Gard gets here, his teams often do better than expected ... for a while, at least. He's won 3 more NCAA Tournament games in the last 9 years than you have, while appearing in the exact same number of second weekends.

I'm pretty bullish on Eian Elmer and they added Owen Foxwell, a pretty good 22-year old "freshmen".  I think the backcourt will be fine.  Maybe not as dynamic as Boyd/Blackwell but good enough to finish top half of the Big 18 and sniff a protected seed.  Defense will still suck but they'll be fine.
