Nice job, Brewers.

Great start for the Brewers. I would so love to see a Cleveland-Milwaukee World Series.

If we get Milwaukee-Tampa, weather isn't an issue.   Guide wires and catwalks, yes, weather, no.

Since he is afraid to stay at the Pfister, I wonder where Betts is staying.

Quote from: MuggsyB on October 11, 2026, 10:55:21 PMWhy on God's Green Earth would the Brewers/Dodgers G2 be at 2pm PST?  Completely ridiculous.

They always stagger the games and usually show Game 2 of one series in the afternoon window. Nothing new.

In Muggsy's defense, he doesn't understand how most things work

im surprised he's so concerned. It's not like he's working today, he's celebrating one of his favorite holidays when the native Americans got introduced to darkness.

Dynasty avoided, baseball saved, the Brewers are your NL Champions!

It doesn't matter. 3 of the final 4 are well-run small-market organizations, leaving the likes of the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Cubs, Phillies, Giants and Blue Jays in the dust. And all three have been very competitive for years, so it's not a one-off.

And there have always been dynasties in MLB. The Yankees of 1996-2000 were the most recent, though the 2010s Giants might argue they were at least a kinda-dynasty (3 titles from 2010-14). And in the previous century, the Yankees dominated baseball years before anybody had ever heard of the term "salary cap."

Other sports leagues have had dynasties despite the presence of salary caps, most recently the Kansas City Chiefs, Golden State Warriors and Chicago Blackhawks.

But, as for last night alone ... huh.

Yup. Though it would make sense to put the game involving the West Coast team on second to get more eyes on it, these things don't always make sense. The order of the games - NLCS first, ALCS second - no doubt was predetermined.

Quote from: wadesworld on October 11, 2026, 08:18:35 PMThe good news is Skubal can't go every game. We get to deal with Yamamoto, Snell, and Glasnow the next 3 games. Yay!

lol at 13 of 15 EPSN "experts" picking the Brewers in this series.

You're still underselling this Brewers team.

Dodgers still the favorite because of the rotation, but Brewers have a legit shot this year.

Quote from: SoCalEagle on October 11, 2026, 08:47:02 PMMaybe Miz just isn't a playoff pitcher. He allows 5 hits amd 3 walks in 4.1 innings. The Dodgers should have put this game away early. Now they're at risk of giving this game away.

Good news for Muggsy.  We're bringing measles back, just in time for Columbus Day!

Way too many pitches for Yamamoto. He's cooked. Bauers should teach a class.

Doing what the Dodgers did last night.

Yeli!

Huh. The untouchable Yamamoto can't even make it through 3.

Stop the count! Dodgers dynasty is over, and baseball is saved! Thank you Brewers!

I said stop the count! We heard the dynasty is dead!

wadesworld

Wtf. We had the lead in the 4th inning of game 2. The Dodgers were dead!

Is our defense coached by Joe Barry
