Unfortunate.  King throwing another 40 pitches might be helpful but give SD credit.  Their defense was excellent tonight.

If it goes back to Milwaukee they have the best pitcher in the game on the bump with one of the better starters in the NL behind him.

Random rules question, and I barely know what is a balk. How is the squat King does with runners on not a balk? Is it because he's not moving forward?

This series is also exactly why neither of these teams has a chance against the Dodgers. You just don't score enough runs by stringing hits together come Playoff time. Need to be able to hit it over the fence. Neither team does it enough.

This.   Zero contribution from these 2.  And still many opportunities for a big hit to win the game.

The Dodgers have not looked like the Dodgers offensively. They have as many runs as these teams in the DS. Maybe there's a switch, but it hasn't been flipped yet.

That game reminded a little bit of Game 3 in Chicago last year. Brewers had their chances but couldn't get the lead.

I wonder what this means for San Diego's bullpen. Will Miller be back? Is Morejon available? Does this limit how much King could throw in a Game 5?
