Why will the Brewers be in a parade? Did they accomplish something? Ty

All I know is I wish Mark Attanasio would sell the Brewers to someone who cares about winning.  I wish I could be at the championship parade so I could boo him for not spending money like he should.

I am sick of Mequon catching all the strays when East Troy is equally to blame here

This whole championship parade thing is a cool idea. Marquette should try one of these for MBB.

I fondly remember the parade each year after Marquette claimed the Bank One Milwaukee Classic.

Mr. Nielsen

I didn't have the UW Marching Band, cheerleaders and Bucky on my bingo card to be in the parade.

Yeah, some folks even said the Brewers had zero chance against the free-spending Dodgers, who were absolute, stone-cold locks to win their third straight World Series. Crazy, eh? (I kid because I love, wades.)

I deserve all of the shade thrown my way.  I did not believe anyone would or could beat the Dodgers this year.  Which has made this all the more fun.

I have never hated on Attanasio, how the Brewers are run, or how they play.  I said many times that if this iteration of the Dodgers wasn't around I'd believe the Brewers were a real World Series contender.  Turns out that even with the Dodgers they were legitimately the best team in baseball.  But I've always laughed at those who hate on Attanasio.  He's at a ton of games.  He does everything he can to win baseball games.

Even if the Dodgers had beaten the Brewers this year, I would've been proud to be a Brewers fan.  They've been a fun team to root for and are well run and well managed.

Yeah, the Dodgers fell short of almost everyone's expectations. Good new for LA is the Rams have great chance to be undefeated.

It also feels like he doesn't meddle at all on the baseball side anymore. I do think he did a bit early on.

Great take, wades. I don't follow the Brewers closely enough to have any opinion on Attanasio. But from afar, an owner (and, for that matter, a team president and a GM) whose organization consistently wins over an extended stretch sure appears to be doing something right.

One of the great things about Attanasio is that he is a baseball fan. He loves the game and knows that fans get frustrated with teams who seem to be permanently tanking, or who are just trying to maximize their own return.

The team went into the doldrums after the Doug Melvin-era success, and he figured out the vision to get this organization to where it is now. He is a fantastic owner.
