this is what I'm struggling with, I think recent packers fandom has squashed most of the confidence I have in my team to get the job done. Hopefully they can close it out tonight.

Ya. With some of the things we've witnessed it is hard not to compare and get worried, but this team is its own team. They have battled back after tough days all season. They can do it again!

They wouldn't use him during the season on 4-days rest and if they extend the series will have to use him twice on 3-days rest will be fascinating

Yup.  Let's hope the lineup can run up the pitch count and chase him early.  And let's hope Miz can miss some bats tonight.

Could be.  Martinez only got 2 last night on the same rest, and he doesn't have Rasmussen's injury history so you're probably right.  I'm just thinking Cash will trust Rasmussen will know how his arm is feeling, and if he's dealing he'll ride it as long as he can.

If it is just 2-3 innings, hopefully the Brewers offense is better while seeing a different arm every time through than they were last night.  Like you and others pointed out, some hard hit balls so there is some bad luck involved, I just felt they didn't play their game last night.  And yet they still took a lead in extra innings.
