Quote from: MU82 on March 20, 2026, 10:45:27 AMDo your own research, eeyore69. Also, I never said big money programs aren't retaining their good players. Also, very convenient how you're already applying asterisks in advance.

He is scoop's self-appointed scold and is simply doing his job. And his job is to question, challenge, bitch, and moan-not to look up answers to his own questions.  Get with the program MU 82!

Cue his patented reply "Thanks for noticing me."  ?-(  ::)

Really good news.  I expect Royce will be on an all Big East team at the end of next year.  Nigel will as well.  With the big three from this year's team locked up, the off-season is going as planned.

Now, on to part two of the plan, the portal, to accumulate more Big East level talent.

I mean, Kentucky starts two very good players it pilfered from fellow SEC programs - one from Oklahoma and another from Alabama. And that's just info I got watching today's game.

If eeyore69 really wants an answer to his question, he'd spend a few minutes googling and find dozens and dozens of good players who have transferred from one big program to another.

Why should he do that if he can get someone else to do it for him?

Quote from: MU82 on March 19, 2026, 06:27:38 PMNope. Even though we all have gotten sick of RGV, relationships actually do matter.

Just look around college basketball. Big-money programs lose good players all the time.

But Shaka doesn't.

I know it's popular Scoop to rag on him for everything, but would it hurt that much to give him credit when he deserves it? All one had to do was listen to Nigel every time he talked - he kept saying was how much he loves Shaka.

Shaka doesn't lose players, just games.   Yeah Shaka!

You're missing Denzel Aberdeen, who left Florida after being part of the national championship team to join Kentucky.

Thanks, good example. I just threw the two Kentucky players out there as a quick example to eeyore69. There are tons of good players who have transferred from one P5 program to another. He just doesn't like to do even 4 seconds worth of googling before making a whiny statement or asking a silly question.

Person A is making >$3million annually coaching a sport he loves in his home state. Has a winning percentage of 65%, been to 12 NCAA tournaments, a Final four, S16, has won a conference regular season title and 4 conference tournaments

Person B is chronically on a Marquette message board, banned from the previous one, likely has an undiagnosed anxiety and/obsessive disorder, a weirdly aggressive mentality, and loves manatees and short people.

Person C is an internet troll who goes out of their way to spend their limited time on this earth only posting comments disparaging Marquette.

Yep all 3 of these people all pathetic losers.

Person B wasn't banned from "the previous one".  But Person D, who apparently is a psychologist, and pimps himself as a boxer (but accuses me of being overly aggressive), took an unnecessary  cheap shot at our tremendous manatee population.... not to mention diminutive citizens at large.  This was an extremely weak effort Gakway.

I'm not the one advocating for genocide, yep unnecessarily aggressive fits whether you like it or not. Also haven't fought in 10yrs now, not sure I'd fit the look of a pimp but sure if that's how you picture me in my late teens to mid 20s then go for it.

Uh-huh.  That was another lame retort.  Apparently you don't know what Genocide is literally or historically.

From the board whose moderator claimed Marquette has the best freshman backcourt duo in the country?  I love Nigel and Adrien, but yeah, I'll go with Darius Acuff and Maleek Thomas over those two.
