What Rico did on a daily basis takes persistence and stamina.  This season was over in early November and not worth the effort. 

There was nothing to be optimistic about expect younger players hopefully developing.  You could not logically poke fun at pessimistic posters, you could not troll dumb over reactions to poor play.  You could not defend Shaka's personnel decisions or abject recruiting failures.  It was simply an energy zapping season. 

His schtick works when the team is actually good.  TAMU's and Towers analyses work when the team is actually good. 

They are absent because they are not bitchers and moaners like the rest of us (all of us to varying degrees). 

Talking about it with people who care (scoopers) is at least therapeutic for some of us who continue to post or read the board for any positive news.

Once the roster is set after the portal, I expect them all to return.  Unless this season has destroyed their desire to ever post on a message board again.  Too much negativity in the worst season since the 60s will do that to you.

We will know in a few months.

You really think the "bitchers and moaners" care less? At least I am here watching the games and yes complaining rather than staying silent. I for one do not want the program to fail. I want more than just making the tournament. I want Marquette to make deep runs in March. Is that too much to ask?

Also it is too early to tell, but even Coach Pitino sees the financial disadvantage the Big East faces competing against the P4 schools. I hope we can, but my glasses are clear eyed not blue and gold.

Your glasses are fogged by your inability to enjoy anything short of perfection, like an undefeated season capped by a natty. Your post (edited) after the UCONN game is a classic example:

"One could also say a 27-3 team did not play their A game and lost to a bad team on the road.  Now if we get the chance to play UCONN next Thursday and hold Karaban to 2 points again and win I will concede they are playing a lot better."

Is it "too much to ask" to enjoy a HUGE upset? From you, the answer is clearly yes. You must have been very upset that we did not win the Xavier game. I think it is a fair guess that Karaban would have scored more than two points, so instead of bestowing your "I concede..." upon us, you could say "SEE? I told you so!"
