It's f'd up how many people are backing their way into "the alternative is worse". Not only did he get that tattoo but he then kept it and left the service instead of getting rid of it, and then continues to platform raging antisemites.

Trump acknowledges Putin might be helping Iran 'a little bit'

"I think he might be helping them a little bit, yeah, I guess," Trump said. "And he probably thinks we're helping Ukraine, right?"

The comments come just as Washington moved to ease sanctions on Russian oil, amid a surge in fuel prices driven by the conflict in the Middle East.

The Trump administration has previously downplayed reports that Russia has been providing intelligence to Iran used to target American forces, drawing scrutiny from U.S. lawmakers.

U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said on March 10 that Moscow had denied the accusations, suggesting that "we can take them at their word."

Putin absolutely owns the American president. It's like the plot of a bad movie.

The administration is run by idiots which represents beautifully.  The administration was elected by the American people because the American people are a very stupid people now.

The damage we've done to ourselves since 2016 is historically incredible.  Just self-destruction and just because we elected a black man president twice.  Those results have lead to the disaster unfolding in Washington today.  Anyone that tells you we're "winning" is an idiot.  Anyone defending our choices, is an idiot and cult member with little to no understanding of history, geopolitics and reality.  They're grievance merchants wrapped in a cocoon of purposeful ignorance.

And self-interest. Their first priority will always been to themselves over country. The only reason they love the United States is because it enriches them and doesn't punish them for misdeeds.

We literally had a president who caused a riot because he lost an election. They stormed the capitol, committed violence against a law enforcement agency, and we elected him again. And he pardoned the rioters. And collectively we shrug our shoulders.

We deserve everything we are getting. We likely deserve even more than that. My grandchildren will look back and wonder how we allowed this to happen to the wealthiest and strongest country in human history.

Can't wait for JD to "Well, actually" the Pope on this one.

VATICAN CITY, March 13 (Reuters) - Pope Leo suggested on Friday that Christian political leaders who start wars should go to confession and assess whether they are following the teachings ‌of Jesus, without naming any specific leaders or conflicts.

"Do those Christians who bear grave responsibility in armed conflicts have the humility and courage to make a serious examination of conscience and to go to confession?" the pope asked in a speech to priests.

Way to drop the hammer, smh

I often think it's weird when people cry about 'oh, it cost more at the pump!'.. and they are literally just talking about filling up their own car. Nickel and dime sh1t. So odd; if someone DOGE'd their a$$, they could save a ton of money all over the place.

ppl r dum.

PS - stay safe this weekend, lots of snowflakes coming!! I've got pickleball noon-3pm then maybe will hit the bar for a guiness before hunkering down -- snow in the Twin Cities likely starting around 6pm tonight.

Well, akshully, higher prices don't matter was a natural endpoint.  Of course, that ignores higher fuel costs for transportation which causes higher prices on everyday goods.  Causes higher aviation costs which makes travel more expensive.  Less travel hurts local economies but it's just a few pennies at the pump.  Who cares?

Wouldn't want anyone to doge my finances.  Mostly because I wouldn't want my personal information stolen or have unqualified buffoons giving me advice.

Anyway, Houthi's are joining Iran's side.  Could disrupt traffic through the Suez which will hurt international trade and cause shortages and price increases but who cares?

Hey now, seeing gas prices increased by 10 cents yesterday from where they were on Thursday during my drives to the gym makes me feel patriotic. I even sing "God Bless America" while filling up. As Dear Leader said, "if they go up, they go up." Obviously, this is something Dear Leader, with his extensive military (school) background and Secretary of War Kegstand knew was going to happen.
