What a stupid idea.

Who supports this?

Why aren't we listening to the generals?

It is impossible for me to believe that the very much deserving winner of the renowned FIFA Peace Prize would start a war.

Obviously this sabre-rattling is about getting Iran to capitulate on a nuclear deal. But Iran really doesn't see the need to do so because all the United States is going to do is bomb them, which will break things undoubtedly, but isn't going to remove the mullahs from power. They also know full well that any sort of invasion of Iran isn't going to go well for the U.S. at all, and would be extremely unpopular.

Finally, the United States has shown that its not a reliable partner when it comes to its nuclear treaties anyway. So why bother?

I have said this before, but Trump's foreign policy is the exactly opposite of TR's "speak softly but carry a big stick." He talks brashly (for the lol's apparently) but then just weenies out. And in the long-run that just costs us legitimacy. Like it has in Europe.

Can't be true. I have it on excellent authority that Iran's nuclear program was "obliterated" last year.

If they moved half of the US Naval and air assets to the middle east just to bluff I'd be shocked.

All of this makes much more sense when you consider that the US is doing all this at the behest of Israel.

If the US does go through with this boondoggle the Chinese would be wise to move up their Taiwan timeline, if possible.  Especially, with the new leadership in Tokyo.  If the US uses up a bunch of their ordinance and can't replace them quickly... just don't be shocked.
