I'm sure MU is on some bubble.

But fresh injuries to Parham and Ross no bueno.

GoldenEagles03

That's unfortunately a risk of a career ender for Chase in an MU uniform.

Shooting shoulder, has had issues with it in the past, not much time left in the season to recover.
VIOLENCE!

Vander Blue Man Group

That would suck if that's the last game of Chase's career.

Would be a brutal way to go out in such a frustrating final season for him.
VIOLENCE!

GoldenEagles03

And possibly no Senior Day. Damn...

Hopefully just less than it looked.

Yeah. Could be a week, could be months. Tough to know with shoulders

Looking for a silver lining for Ross.  His odds of closing his MU career with a win are pretty slim if this injury doesn't keep him out.

It's not Ed. It's the program.

I have no ill will towards Chase, he's had a nice run at MU, congrats, but rather see what MU has by giving Owens and Phillips playing time the next few games, it gives Shaka a chance to see what he has in those two kids going forward.

Georgetown with a blistering 76.9% from the charity stripe while #muMbb only shot 54.5% from the line. Miracles happen.

There were very few FT's.

It's such a cautionary tale - and seems like a doom loop - not gonna get resources without wins, not gonna get wins without resources.

Hopefully Shaka and the whales take note and do whatever it takes this off-season. In this era a team can fall to semipermanent irrelevance pretty fast.

That's a good point. This is 11 consecutive years of declining returns, visibly declining crowds, and coaches who lose goodwill fast. When three consecutrive coaches with completely different approaches to the game run into the same brick wall, maybe someone needs to start investigating the wall.

Here's the turnout tonight:

Yeah, I don't think that's 4,519 or whatever the official number was.

Really feel for you true GU hoops fans- surely some of the 600 lawyers you put out every year care about ball and can come up with some coin? Although I suppose most of them will be facing the AI unemployment line pretty soon....

I guess you need a Pitino/Calipari and $12 million a year from some NIL billionaire for 7 NIL players who are playing for the cash....

Pretty much the state of college Bball.....

Unless you go hybrid and get lucky....

Or bring in 5 semi-pro foreigners that are in their 20's and have already played semi-pro EURO ball....

No....I forgot....College is about the student athlete....LOL!

Yes, I might just still be in denial that cbb is effectively dead.

This sounds promising:
"Ross should be good to go Sunday after he had his shoulder popped back into place after the game, per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

This doesn't:
DePaul (15-13, 7-10) has won consecutive games away from home: 69-57 at Seton Hall on Feb. 18 and 72-71 at Creighton on Wednesday."

Apparently we're allowed to pick random timeframes...

Since Feb 11, they're playing like the #84 team in the country.  In the same period, MU is playing like the #88 team in the country.  They've gone 3-1, we've gone 1-2.
