There's just a massive talent discrepancy that's almost impossible to overcome. I admire the fight that the guys continue to put up despite being outmatched.

It's almost impossible to overstate just how little Chase gives us offensively. Grinds every single movement to a halt while accomplishing nothing. Senior guard with an elite body but just hasn't bothered across 4 years to learn how to dribble with his right hand, turn a corner, or make any sort of quick decision. Maddening. This offense is so much better and easier to watch with him off the floor

He can't have a midrange game with our staff's (now poor) philosophy of 3s or at the basket...has made us easier to defend.

This program has had a maniacle aversion to any type of midrange shot for 4 years. How would Chase develop that part of his game?

Chase's excellent value as a fourth-option slasher for 3 years, devolving into this version of a player who won't even attempt to beat one backpedaling defender on a fast break, is unreal. An Adrian Stevens who has not scored all game then goes on to take initiative while he hides in the corner when we need an urgent bucket. Just horrible

Stevens has a ton of potential as a shot maker if he can get better at creating those little spaces to get his shot up.
