Get over the road hump vs. X. Win at Georgetown, then DePaul at home.

X just took SJU to the wire.  Gtown is getting healthy.  They both might be improving faster than MU.  DePaul... Is unpredictable, but I expect a close game with them.

Only one game left on the schedule that I wouldn't consider gettable.

I would love to agree, MU is playing *better*.  But that's a far cry from good.

Up to 41st in Torvik the last four weeks. Playing like a fringe tournament team, and that honestly feels right. Decent team right now. I think we get three more wins. Get over the road hump vs. X. Win at Georgetown, then DePaul at home.

Only one game left on the schedule that I wouldn't consider gettable. Just don't think this team is consistent enough to win four more.

To answer the question. I'd guess we win 3 more games the rest of the year. But it really depends if we snag one of the next two road games. I think if this team can get one on the road, the lid will come off and they'll win at Georgetown and Providence.

I think it is a matter of pride to at least salvage that out of this dreadful season.

If we do, then we will not have a 20 loss season including the one loss in the BET and if by some miracle a loss in the NCAAT.

I think I kind of prefer getting Butler, then StJ, and SH/Creighton and UConn or whoever's left.

I know X would be the weaker first rd opponent and StJ in the Garden is a bad matchup for Marquette, or any team, but that's what I prefer.

Having to beat UConn and then Villanova just to get to the final seems worse imo

If it is UCONN, Hurley will demand MU scalps. St. Johns at MSG is no day at the beach, but I agree-it's better than a UCONN rematch.

Typically physical contact results in a suspension, and it was pretty clear and obvious. We'll see though, nothing official yet.

I agree. I don't want UConn to have a chance to get revenge that quickly.
