🇳🇴 is favored to win the most golds and total medals.

Chloe Kim is a badass.

Hopefully our athletes step-up.

All the events where the winner is determined by a judge or judges is just politics and not sport.

I like 🇳🇴 and the Norwegian people.  But I will not forget what their government did to Freya.  That was a cold blooded murder.  Period.  May she rest in peace.

It's amazing some of the bizarre sports that have caught on. Pickleball will arrive and thrive. #Pioneer

Ughhhhh.  Ya...olympic skiing on a torn acl seems kinda difficult.

I admire the competitor Vonn obviously is, but that couldn't have been much worse of an ending for her and clear now she can't compete at this level anymore.  Hope she's ok and recovers soon and enjoys retirement.

On the other hand, congratulations to her teammate Breezy J on first U.S. gold!  Not favored and had to sit and watch 30 others.  Very cool!

I have had so much admiration for her, determined to return for one more Olympics at the age of 41.  With her injuries, it is a very sad ending to her career.  :(

This isn't 1980. You comment is almost 100% false.

It's just nice to see snow capped mountains. Unlike 2022 in China when the backdrop was a steel mill that everyone thought was a nuclear power plant.

So boxing TKO or KO = sport

Boxing goes the distance = politics?

It's been a long time since Seoul, but Roy Jones would say "yes."

That video of him getting the medal was the most cringeworthy thing I've seen a former athlete do. Also don't forget Floyd Jr was robbed as well, not quite as egregiously but definitely was

Worst Olympics boxing decision ever may have been Tyrell Biggs over Francesco Damiani in 1984. The hometown crowd in Los Angeles actually bood the decision. Then, when Damiani raised a glove and acknowledged the crowd, they cheered wildly. Interestingly, the exact same thing happened at the pre-Olympics exhibition match a few months earlier.

Boxing is most definitely a sport.  However, Willie Pep has been overlooked historically.
