Please explain what laws exist that allow federal agents to murder protesters. "Upholding the law" my ass.

Seriously, why do you support murderers and liars who cover up for them?

Quote from: Pakuni on February 15, 2026, 12:13:35 PMNo, that's not the definition of fascism.
Are we talking about the same Mussolini who was kicked out of the Italian socialist party during WWI and promptly became an avowed anti-socialist?
Read a book, my guy. Or at least a Wikipedia page.
I think it is intellectually lazy to parrot vile names for people one disagrees with  it puts someone on par with the teilzeitdinkers screaming on the streets at lawful agents  there is no equivalence with Nazis ;arresting
adjudicated criminals is lawful and moral

What about murdering innocent people?

Quote from: Jables1604 on Today at 08:52:11 AMWhat are murdering innocent people?

Or arresting and deporting people who are legally able to be here? Or doing so without the Constitutional guaranty of due process?

Defending this nonsense may not make one a Nazi sympathizer, but it certainly makes them anti-American to the core.

You're right--there are some significant differences.

Also, here is your lawful and moral:

Would you say that's more or less intellectually lazy than conflating fascism with socialism? Or claiming Benny Mussolini's government was socialist?
Asking for a friend.

Oh, and just fyi, most immigration violations are civil offenses. In most instances, being in the country unlawfully is not a criminal act.

Can we agree that ICE should attempt to handle matters "with civility"?

Wikipedia, obviously, but Reuters is generally a well-respected news organization.

Your question does not logically follow from my post.

But to answer your question:

52,504 out of 70,766 — or 74.2% - held in ICE detention have no criminal conviction according to data current as of January 25, 2026. Many of those convicted committed only minor offenses, including traffic violations.

Hope this helps!

74+% with no criminal convictions, with "many of those convicted committed only minor offenses, including traffic violations."

I'm sorry, I'll contact that organization and ask them to re-run the data to match your exact phrasing rather than this cut which gets to the essence of your question.
